Jack Palance was a true badass. Makes Chuck Norris look like Steve Urkel.
Whaa… Never knew he was Ukranian!
Will be watching Batman (1989) with new eyes after this! Also would recommend Tango and Cash from the same year, low budget and underrated Buddy Cop-comedy.
Apparently he was born Volodymyr Palahniuk/Володимир Палагню́к
Don’t fuck with Curly.

Still remember his push-ups at the Oscars!
Norm Macdonald?
I knew I liked him.
Jack Palance was my uncle’s close friend, and we shared many a dinner with him. Once he stood too fast and broke the chandelier. A very, very nice man, and hell yes, all the way Ukrainian.
He craps bigger than Putin.
In the US most people didn’t know what and where Ukraine is. The knowledge came up in 2014.
Jack Palance is much beloved in Hollywood lore. I am fairly certain everyone liked him. One of those kinds of celebrities.
So, you know, Russia pisses off yet another micro-demographic.
