US Air Force B-52H Stratofortress strategic bomber and a B-1 Lancer bomber, accompanied by a pair of Swedish Air Force Gripen jets, flew over Stockholm today as part of the Nordic Response 2024 exercise.

2. I’m absolutely no big fan of the horrors of war but part of me really wants NATO to have a field day with russia just once – no holding backsies. That would be a day to remember for uncle Vlad.

3. These videos don’t do it justice.

   The B-1 is one of the *loudest* planes I have ever heard. Like rumbling in your chest loud. The only thing that comes close is an F-104.

4. Sweden has been drilling hard with NATO for nearly two years already, ever since they first announced their bid. Any sort of desperate plan by Putin was never really an option for him because security guarantees and heavy NATO involvement started almost immediately as the watermelon salesman in Ankara started his haggling.
