Never mind the Kremlin identifying these people – *we* should be doing so, and make a point of offering them asylum if Moscow starts targeting them. It’s a good look to those on the fence if we make welcome the people brave enough to stand up to Putin.
Of course, out of Russia they can’t do much to change anything, but if the point is to show ordinary Russians they’re not seen as the enemy in Europe and we’re a lot nicer than Puffyface McBunkertwat, it’s ideal.
