Ideal logic boiler somewhere in the west midlands.
There does appear to be a face inside the flames but im quite sure its just pareidolia and not the devil coming to get us all. Amen.
The orange juice was probably thrown away.
Have you had your boiler serviced?

Is your fridge running??
Hold a pan in there to heat some water, save yourself a few bob.
It seems to be the time of year for boilers to break down doesn’t it? Our boiler at home AND at the office both went kaput within a day of each other this week.
Oi don’t scare me like that! I’ve got the same boiler and it’s been yelling at me to get it serviced for 3 years now. Still works fine though.
Not my job
That doesn’t look ideal.
If anyone has an Ideal boiler, they might want to know that there’s safety advice about some models made between 2022 and early 2024:
>The product presents a risk of fire due to the dry operation, meaning the boiler lights gas but the heat generated does not cool it. There have been three incidents of boilers that have been able to continue to operate when the boiler heat exchanger has been full of air at a low pressure. This has allowed the heat exchanger and associated plastic components to be subject to significant heat allowing the plastic to flash to flame and result in fire outside of the appliance. There has also been a report of a customer having to extinguish flames.

Basically, they may catch fire. LIke this one.
Well at least the heating works
Did the Tropicana put it out?
Ah yes my exact boiler that’s now 12 years old. Welp.
Isn’t this how they normally work?
Wait there, I’ll be round in 5, I’m bringing marshmallows.
At least the pilot light hasn’t gone out.
That’s just the pilot furnace… Nothing out of the ordinary!
With today’s gas prices, that’s expensive
Who’s first instinct is to film a boiler on fire….
I’m running to my gas cut off, snippity! Screaming, head covered all the way….. And right after that a visit to the loo
Why does the fire have a face??
fire in da hole.
Finally a boiler with a strong pilot light!
Erm….
Have just completed a Gas Safety Course and was informed there has been a recall on Ideal boilers installed in the last year!
typical overachiever
Spicy
I’ve got almost the same boiler. Mine’s not on fire.
Seems to be working fine, if a little hot.
‘The fire brigade, irsmbfsns
No idea what the issue is, pilot light seems to be fine..
God is coming on the 26th of march
Standard fare in Dudley mind
Personally I would turn that down a bit
With bills on the rise, that might actually be a cheaper way to heat the house.
Im glad they zoomed in with the camera and not walked up to it to get a closer look. Looks potentially hazardous.
Tis nothing but a scratch…
Wasn’t this a Depher post on Twitter? The guy hadn’t had any heating or hot water for 756 Years and complained there was a small fire for 7 weeks. He tried phoning the council but they fobbed him off saying he should phone the emergency services.
This gives me anxiety for multiple different reasons
