  1. That’s more or less an advanced surface torpedo. I’d guess most navies would be highly vulnerable to this. I believe the U.S. Navy would pick these things up pretty far in advance and neutralize most of them most of the time, but for the Russian Navy using dated equipment with lesser trained sailors and less discipline, this looks to be a real killer.

    It’s pretty incredible.

  2. Nice stuff! They really going above and beyond. I would like to see a converted Narco-Submarine a semi-submersible. Yes, it would have less maneuverability but much lower profile and could pack more explosives.

  3. Would love to see it carry some flying kamikaze drones too

  4. Musk will shut down Starlink as soon as he sees it’s used by Ukraine on these…

  5. Why is a kamikaze drone preferable to a reusable drone with a short-range anti-ship missile or two?

  6. I love the Ukrainians and…I just wish that they would keep things under wraps.

    Keep everyone guessing, please.

  7. Nobody told the Ukrainians that they can’t make a boat that is all stern?

  8. Judging by way it turns and it’s displacement. At least a 1000lbs center mass. 💣💥

  9. Exellent !!!
Keep hammering the Black Sea fleat! They must be pulled back before even thinking about moving south in the Kherson region.

  10. Use them in packs like the Germans did to allied shipping. Decoy to attract the attention while the others close in from different sides.

  11. What you’re noticing is there’s a Starlink that Elon provided on these drone.. people trashing Elon but without him these, Ukraine sadly would been gone long time ago

  12. The Ukranians were always mostly the engineers of the Soviet Union, so their enginuity in this conflict makes sense

  13. To put it in perspective, they were sinking WW2 aircraft carriers with 500 pound bombs. This thing carries the equivalent of four 500 pound bombs.

  14. On top it is NOT a Starlink…Ukraine bought satellite services from an independent satellite services supplier (linked to the US anyway) providing encrypted links. It was done in 2022. Starlink are used mostly in the field for drones, communications.

Russia can not says that Ukraine is using US satellites directly…

They are stationary services off course always on location.

BTW..the US has multiple ways to pressure Sir Elon Musk if it is really wants…Dear Elon is receiving boatloads of orders from Oncle Sam.

This monster is not powerful enough to destroy the bridge but can be used to sink boats UNDER the bridge or in the ways leading to the bridge (under the big central truss arch). Water depth is only 9 meters.

The real target is of course the rail-road (rail road is much more important) system but it will be nice to see a collapsing central truss arch in the water.

  15. How would a modern navy handle this type of emerging threats, can systems like CIWS be used?

  16. How is this thing fueled? 1000km seems extreme.

  17. As someone in the market for a starlink, this was particularly hard to watch 😂 fuckin send it boys, sink those fuckers

  18. I wonder, if they mounted them on hydrofoils , it would lessen the drag and wake by many orders of magnitude. Also increase the speed and range.

  19. Now you just need some wire guided torpedoes. Mark 48’s will do the job and won’t be detected. 🙂

  20. Conservative here, I don’t understand why Republicans want to stop funding Ukraine. When did the narrative shift?
