Fun fact: treecreepers can only creep up trees. When they get to the top they have to fly down and start at the bottom again.
Nuthatches however can climb up and down (they’re kind of like the queen of the tree climbing world). Sometimes they like to climb down past treecreepers and give them a smug look as they do so.
Never seen one of these in my life ! It looks like a posh spuggy.
From the front it really looks like its head is on upside-down! 🙃
