  3. Turns out that it’s not just BTR-60s, there are pictures of BRDMs (even more useless than the BTRs IMO) and Gvozdikas (quite useful). The condition is not very good but not as bad as some people on the internet claim.

  6. I am skeptical the BRDMs and BTRs given their age will every be given to a front line unit. More likely Ukraine will use them for spare parts or frakenstein them into some other purpose, or give them to a rear local TDF unit or something.

    The 2S1s will be very welcome. Ukraine employs that SPG in their regular artillery formations and would gladly take every one offered.

  7. Surprised by the replies here. Of course these are old pieces of kit, but 100 is still pretty substantial when it comes to vehicles. The Ukrainians will find a role for them in which they will save lives.
