That man has some Hollywood-grade hair.

Czechia has raised all the funds for the purchase of 800,000 shells for Ukraine.
This was announced by Czech President Petr Pavel, the Czech news agency ČTK has reported. According to the Czech President, “As of this morning, we have collected the total amount for the purchase of all ammunition, 800 thousand units.” He added that next, the Czech government will sign a memorandum with all countries that have joined the initiative – and there are 18 of them – and will provide detailed information on the timetable and further steps. President Pavel refused to specify who exactly and how much was given.
The Czech president predicts the ammunition should arrive in Ukraine “in the coming weeks.”. “Now it will depend on the skill of our companies and the Ministry of Defense to speed up the whole process,” he added. Deepest gratitude to Czechia for organizing everything and all the countries who took part! Shells are crucial on the frontlines. This decision will save many Ukrainian lives.

Fantastic news. Hopefully they can deliver ASAP.
Or what I’m really hoping for is that the news is generally delayed and we’re finding out about things after they are done.
I hope putin is foaming at the mouth in rage….
I see no reason to assume that any of these events are or were easy, and so I applaud the dawn of a new era of leadership.
And furthermore, it is quite common for politicians to want to be repaid in political coin — they will help you, if you will make them look good. The Handsomest President Ever has no need of such assistance, so this is all altruism on his part. What a guy.
