What do you suggest we remove from the curriculum to facilitate this?
Isn’t there a split between BSL and ISL use though? From what I understand, there’s a divide between Catholic/Protestant communities (shock!) and a bit of an urban/rural split too.
They aren’t mutually intelligible, so the language you choose comes down to identity, location, who you’re likely to communicate with, etc. Whether you’re in Derry or Belfast for instance might have a huge effect on which language is more use to you.
Shouldn’t a plan like this make provisions for both languages?
