74% of Germans want military spending to increase, compared to 69% one year ago. A majority in all parties except BSW are for more military spending.

  2. While in the beginning I had (albeit minor) hope in BSW, their ideology will lead to a weak Europe controlled by foreign powers. If there ever was a moment to ramp up military spending, it’s now.

  6. Let’s fucking go. If Germany also reintroduces conscription they’ll have a formidable reserve in 10 years, and it’s a good way to recruit young people for longer contracts and careers as officers and specialists and so on.
