    Edit: It’s okay, downvotes actually help reduce greenhouse gases so this helps. One day you’ll wish that you had the luxury of looking down on people who actually cared enough to try and do anything.

  14. I’m a policymaker in renewable energy and these idiots don’t understand just how much damage dumb actions like this do to the climate agenda.

    Destroying art isn’t going to make people vote for your cause but they’ll just hate you and what you stand for. I see this in my work that when climate protests go too far that there is less appetite in the government to enact certain policies.

    This, even though all the energy policies that are enacted will pay themselves out manyfold in a few years.

  20. While this is not effective I get it as the situation is dire and reactions are nowhere near adequate. I mean they are pouring red at statue to stirr public, but a lot of people laughing at them are not doing even that, or “consume responsibly” or do something similar which is equally effective against global warming as last generation actions.

  22. They would do more if they took an interest in things that are slowing down Polish energy transformation, such as outdated electrical greed that cannot support renewable energy and very shady policies around that.
