6. Thermal scopes really change the dynamic of the battlefield. You go from being nigh-on invisible in the dark, to being a glowing beacon of soon to be ended life.

   Pretty surreal

7. I’m leaning towards what the other comments are saying, that it was actually an RPG (or similar) being fired at the shooter.

8. Seems he detonated a rocket propelled mine.

9. Seems like the rpg hit pretty close to the sniper. War is surreal.
