Hi all, for those who own cats and live in Norway I’m looking for recommendations for really good dry cat food please. We used to buy Lily’s Kitchen in the UK because it has about 70% chicken content and it was meant to contain less additives etc.
I’ve read mixed reviews about Hill’s and Royal Canin, and is Orijen a good brand? I don’t mind spending a little extra if it keeps my cat healthy and it helps us avoid vets in the long run.

Other details: cat is a domestic breed, 3yrs old and healthy. Thank you!

  1. I’ve been using royal canin for my dog, it seems pretty good i have no idea about their cat food but by my positive experience with dog food the cat food is probably also good. Ofc take this with a grain of salt

  2. Buy some premium brand from zooplus.no

Royal canin is crap, contains grains.

  3. Greeting, fellow void-keeper! They stock Lily’s Kitchen at our local pet store, so you should be able to find it in Norway. Orijen and Acana are good,IMO. We switched to Labb( Felleskjøpet’s own brand), because we buy a lot of other stuff there for our various critters. It is based on mostly domestic inputs, some grains in there but not a lot.

  4. buy something with a high meat content. They’re carnivorous the cheaper brands fill up with grains to get volume

  5. You should check out Purizon. They advertise their food has 70% meat content and no grain.

  6. My two voids love the cat food from Vigor & Sage. Grain free and high quality.
