I don’t dislike Asterix & Obelix, but I think it may be a bit overrated. It can feel kinda repetitive sometimes imo.
Asterix and obelix and Lucky Luke are peak comic books. PEAK

Asterix and Obelix is the best thing to come out of France. Up there with Brie and baguettes.
Loved Asterix in my youth and still loving it. In Italy the first stranslation was made by a great writer, Marcello Marchesi, who had some very good idea, like translating *ils sont fous ces romains* into *Sono Pazzi Questi Romani* ([SPQR](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SPQR))
