  1. She should be in prison. Refusing to answer questions and conveniently gets a doctors note once the scandals began that has been used for what feels like a 9 month excuse.

    I’d like to see funding halted until this loophole is closed.

  9. Well,  now i know if i get caught doing anything illegal I can just say I’ve ill health and wont be able go make it to court. Good to know

  11. Surely there’s a criminal element to this. How can this be acceptable?

  12. I don’t know why she gets such a wide-ranging sick note when she is seen wandering around the markets or west Cork every weekend

  13. Please tell me she’s become a pyriah in her town? If she’s still going for her Sunday coffees and for pints with mates while this is happening I’d be sickened.

  18. She should be socially shunned, she’s effectively a thief in my eyes. Like those charity bosses being paid a fortune that came to light.

  19. There’s not a person in the country who believes her sick note story. This is an absolute farce and insult to us all. No accountability = no license fee ever again.

  20. Maybe she really is absolutely crawling up the walls with (self-inflicted) stress or maybe she’s a massive piss-taker. Either way, her and her mates used a national asset as their personal bouncy castle and should pay for that.

    I’d settle for some farmers blasting her house with slurry now and again though. Is that so much to ask?

  23. Forbes would be compelled to attend if she were still employed by RTE. But as RTE accepted her resignation, she can be invited and she can decline. I’m not sure what makes me more uncomfortable. The way RTE behaved with impunity under her and no doubt other DG’s watch. Or the level of cruelty in people’s comments about her. It could very well be she is experiencing several mental health issues as a result of this case, I don’t know. I do know if she read many of these comments it could affect her even moreso.
