My only concern with TikTok is the CCP using it for information gathering. Same as I have concerns about any information gathering of citizens.
I also think TikTok is fucking stupid, but some of my hobbies are fucking stupid too and I wouldn’t want them legislated.
This is about money.

Or maybe people don’t want what’s basically the only place on the internet to freely question and discuss ANYTHING, including politics, taking away? There are a lot of open discussions on tiktok going on but it’s hard to find due to all the sludge content.
Good meta and google can’t operate in China. No reason not to. They will sell at the end of the day if it passed.
This needs to happen. It’s a Chinese spy app. And it has already compromised all of us.
