Perhaps Erdogan can explain the difference between the PKK and Hamas that merits one group being called terrorists and the other group receiving his firm backing.

I think what I hate most about the Israeli-Palestine conflict (politically) is that it feels like everyone in the world believes they have a stake in it and want everyone in the world to know what side they’re on. It then feels like a qualifier to even have a conversation about anything, even if it is in all ways unrelated.
Most people read this wrong. Most countries in the Middle East don’t even recognize Israel while Turkey Israel trade is still flourishing. Erdogan feels pressure on this issue, his sincerity on the Palestinian issue is questioned all the time.
He’s saying these exaggerated things to prove himself as the supporter of the Palestinian cause. He says these things but there are no substantial actions behind them and there won’t be.
Gotta love archaic religious wars. Holding humanity back since the dawn of time.

Backs Hamas – sorry, no.
Which is kind of ironic, considering turkey has been illegally occupying Constantinople since 1453. When will they be vacating the city and giving it back to the rightful owners?
