  1. Parrot fever… parrot fever… mmh mmh hmmm nah… don’t have that on my 2024 disaster bingo card *adjusting glasses

  2. So first we start with monkey’s then it was bats and now its parrots. I wonder what animal is next.

  3. Parrot fever sounds kinda cute.

The covid marketing team learned from their mistake.

  5. Uhh is this just another Russian backed bullshit story like the bed bug thing last year.

  6. I know a doctor that recently treated another case here in Austria but they managed to save the patient.

  7. It’s Psittacosis. It’s been around for a very, very long time. You’re only likely to get it from handling infected parrots, & even then, for it to kill you, you’d need to ignore the symptoms for quite a while & not get treatment.

  8. My parrot recently died with symptoms of this disease. We weren’t able to determine what killed her but I’m thinking it was chlamydia psittaci. That being said I’m not in Europe I’m in North America. I’m wondering if there is a general increase in cases worldwide

  9. oh boy..

I had Cockatoo Fever a few months back. went to a bath house in Milan, long story.. well about 7 inches

  10. It is uncomfortable to read this while having fever in the last few day

  11. Ok, I read and it said that human to human transmission is “very rare”. So, no. Probably not the next pandemic.
