Chatter on Russian Telegram channels is that an A-50 AWACS was burned at the aerodrome in Taganrog, Rostov Oblast, Russian Federation. Ukrainian defenders launched a drone strike last night. Previously, they shot down two enemy A-50s.

7. As someone who doesn’t know shot about airplanes, why is this so big? What does a a-50 do?

   A) How this will affect Russias ability to service other planes

   B) What else was destroyed that was there?
