I couldn’t find the right subreddit for this so I decided to give it a shot here.
It leaves a salt-like residue everywhere, even on the dishes, it doesn’t really clean the dishes too, I have cleaned the inside, I have had it run without any dishes in it on the highest setting. I used a dishwasher-cleaning tablet, I made sure the salt thingy is closed very tightly, I changed dishwasher pods, I cleaned the filters. I’m losing my mind, what’s the solution for this?

  1. Needs a salt refill to counter calcium deposits maybe?

  2. There’s either too much salt or too little salt in the descaler of the machine. Find out what the water hardness is in your region and modify the settings of the machine accordingly. If you have a descaler in the apartment set it to zero. It could also be that that one needs salt. Another reason is that you use all in one cubes and are overdosing the machine. Powder is better and cheaper.

  3. Maybe the water doesn’t warm up enough to disolve the salt/dishwasher tablet? Are your dishes steaming when the cycle is finished?

  4. Looks to me to much salt in the waren I would clean it with dishwasher clean soap

  5. Is this Antwerp?
Because there seems to be a lot of coke in the drains there.

  6. If all else fails, you can try using liquid dishwashing detergent and rinse aid.
