  1. So, she is blaming what happened under a republican president 20 years ago on Joe Biden?

Imagine listening to these people while expecting leadership and being lied to instead.

  2. Finally getting picked up by main stream media. What an embarrassing situation for her although I’m sure she’ll gloss it over and keep living in pretend victim world.

  3. Why, at this point, would anyone believe a thing a Republican says? I know the answer is propaganda and lack of critical thinking

  4. How dare they question her integrity by discovering she is completely full of shit!?!?

I am outraged for this poor woman.

  5. From the story:

    >Though sex trafficking has taken place in the U.S. under the Biden administration, Jacinto Romero’s sex-trafficking story is not an example of it.

As if sex trafficking hasn’t happened in the US during every administration since forever.

  6. Incredibly misleading story, super out of place and graphic description of sexual assault, and blatantly fake attempts at conveying genuine emotion throughout the whole speech. What a disaster. It’s too bad that no one will remember this by Monday.

  7. 1. She lied about the location

    2. She lied about the time frame.

    3. She lied, by omission, by implying Biden.

    4. She lied about “her discovery” of this case.

  8. Senator Biden could’ve stopped President Bush from allowing her to be sex trafficked in Mexico during his presidency in 2003

  9. Sort of a pro-asylum argument considering the woman she was talking about was brutally targeted and trafficked by a Mexican cartel in Mexico and now lives in the US

  10. Yeah, they’ve also been pissed for years that Obama did nothing as president during 9/11.

To that end, I’m still pretty pissed he didn’t lift a finger during Pearl Harbor. /s

  11. Wasn’t she wearing a cross? I thought bearing false witness was a sin?

  12. 20 years ago when a Republican had been president for 4 years?

  13. And her logic is what – let’s make sure this poor woman who was repeatedly raped in another country isn’t allowed to have a new safe life in our country? She’s way more than a liar. She is a cruel monster.

  14. So now we have Mooches for time and Britts for untruthfulness.

  15. A few years ago, this sort of thing would be enough to end a political career (re: Howard Dean’s scream). Those were the days!

  16. If she lied publicly, then she needs to be 100% publicly called out on it. But, US media is terrible at doing this, so I’m going to assume this all just gets forgotten while Trump’s base picks it up & runs with it as gospel.

  17. I thought she was telling the story from that new Rambo movie

  18. If Fox News admits it actually happened when George W Bush was president they’ll just put a (D) by his name and hope their mush brained viewers will buy it.

  19. Never let the truth get in the way of a train wreck rebuttal performance

  20. She’s got the classic republican bully-ish, smarmy, corrupt feel to her.

  21. I asked Katie on twitter or whatever it is if she explained to that girl that Katie wouldn’t support letting her into our country away from those people. And also that if the child had been impregnated that she favors forcing her to carry it to term.

    I don’t expect an answer.

  22. I applauded her performance.

I hope she wins an Emmy.

  23. This woman destroyed her whole career with one bad video.

Time to find a new job loser.

  24. If the southern border was such a crisis, wouldn’t they have more examples to cite then a recycled 20 year old story and one incident in Georgia?

Awful tragedy in Georgia, but it’s gross to be using that girl for political theatre. I’d be irate if I was related.

  25. When you’re a cartel, they let you do it. You can do anything

  26. Can we just have Doug Jones back please? A great human, lawyer, and advocate and we just pissed it all away and then later we get this …

  27. I hear that the French Revolution and the Black Plague also started in the US under Biden’s regime. Despicable times of unrest and lack of focus on public safety under Biden’s America!!!

  28. If you tug on her necklace, she fully reverts to her original reptilian form!

  29. Republicans are malicious quacks who lie and fabricate because that’s what the fascist agenda demands. Don’t trade away our democracy in November. Don’t vote Republican, ever

  30. She has a cross around her neck and still lies like a snake, what a good Christian she is

  31. Who could have guessed they’d lie again on the national stage. Remember when Trump brought out 3 reams of blank copy paper and said it was his taxes?

  32. That story may be 20 years old, but let’s face it; shit like this is happening all over the place now, both in the countries where these migrants are headed through, and the countries they came from (especially there: that is why they’re trying to escape). And not just in Latin America, but also throughout Africa (see: Cindy McCain’s latest report from the DRC where she heads a food-aid program).

This is not Joe Biden’s fault – rather it’s the boringly predictable result of 3 decades of Conservative policy of withdraw from these areas, and subsequent engagement by Russia and China (and in-particular, Russian PMC’s like Wagner – – this is especially true in the DRC). If these tactics sound familiar – – – that’s because it is. It is standard operating procedure and Soviet Military doctrine.

It has been VERY convenient for Russia; to operate on a policy of forcing migrants to flee (by whatever means) to western european and north american countries, because it aids in their campaign of racist far-right radicalization so they can divide Russia’s enemies against themselves, so Russia can continue to do what it’s doing without opposition.

  33. What about all of the rapes by Americans to other Americans? For example what about the rapes committed by their leader 45?

  34. What really stands out about this to me is that since Roe fell, more than 69,000 woman have been forced into pregnancy via rape in TX.

That’s not even all the rapes but the rapes that lead to forced pregnancy. (That we know about)

How can she pretend to care about sex trafficking from 20 years ago, that happened in Mexico, under a different administration and ignore her own team’s present day influence in rape, DV and forced birth.

    It’s insulting.

  35. Holy fuckballs, you mean her rebuttal was somehow actually *even worse* than we initially thought it was?

  36. All GPQ shock and awe.

    I’VE LEARNED THAT PEOPLE WILL

Makes lies so easier to slip into the narrative. It’s all about the feels.
