Tere!
TLDR: I need photographs or a model of Suudlevad tudengid/Kissing Students statue in the town square so that I can create a 3D printable miniature. Entirely for personal use and there are no intentions of creating commercial derivative work.
Longer story, my partner is Estonian and we live together with our family in the UK. We did live in Estonia a while, now we’re here, we might go back, time will tell.
Nevertheless she is home sick and I would like to be able to bring small things from home here to the UK.
Presumably somebody makes figures and I could get them, but I want the model so that I can repurpose it for 3D printing, or Lego, or VR (being able to walk in the old town from our living room would be magic).
There are lots of photos online that I can use, but there isn’t enough consistency between them to use VisualSFM or NeRF etc to reproduce a reasonable model so I would really be over the moon if a Tartu resident or visitor who sees this could capture the statue for me.
There are a few ways it can be done, by taking photos or by using apps that are designed specifically for the purpose of capturing 3D scenes.
Suitable apps are on this list here: https://docs.nerf.studio/quickstart/custom_dataset.html
NeRF studio may not be how I get the final model, it’s just an option. The tools in that page are all useful nonetheless.
I have no idea how much would be a fair price, but I’ll say €100 and see how it goes?
If I could be there myself I’d do it, and I could ask family there but they’re travelling at the moment and I’ve left this late because I assumed I’d find a model on sketchfab or similar and left it until now. No dice!
So, can anyone help? I don’t know if there is an escrow option available? I can pay by PayPal or transferwise, it’s anyone’s choice.
Thank you so much in advance.

PS: just consistent photos is useful. A video of a slow walk around the statue, provided there isn’t motion blur would probably suffice to. I don’t need somebody to make a 3D model if they can get good photos I can do the next step. Really can’t believe it isn’t online already but hey ho.
❤️
I have a drone video looping around the fountain if that would help.
Dude, I’m quite sure someone would have done it for free, but it is terribly nice of you to still have it done for money.
Hope she likes it! Also, why stop with suudlevad tudengid, maybe get some other spots as well, from your time together in Tartu or her childhood areas…
Until today I didn’t really even suspect that a mini-Tartu existed in a Chinese amusement park.
