Photos suggest Egypt building enclosure for Rafah refugees amid possible Israeli offensive

E Bel well our demand is an immediate ceasefire and and uh I see that the German chancellor has also said that that um there’s been too much violence and there’s been too many innocent casualties of civilians and the only way to bring Aid to people who are in dire

Need is to stop the violence I’ve repeatedly called for an immediate and unconditional release of all hostages and the humanitarian ceas fire that is the only way to mess Escape up a delivery in Gaza

Satellite images and footage released by an Egyptian human rights organisation appeared to show the construction of a walled enclosure on the Egyptian side of the Rafah border.

The footage, released by the Sinai Foundation for Human Rights, shows workers using heavy machinery erecting concrete barriers and security towers near the border with Rafah, where more than 1 million Palestinians have taken refuge amid Israeli attacks and evacuation orders.

The construction drive comes as Israel has vowed to expand its offensive into Gaza, leading to widespread concern about the humanitarian situation of refugees who have fled there. French president Emmanuel Macron, Belgian prime minister Alexander De Croo and UN secretary general António Guterres have called for an immediate ceasefire to ward off a further deterioration of the humanitarian situation in Gaza.

  1. Israel exchanged 1 Gilad Shalit for 1000+ terrorists which a few were mastermind of Oct 7? Since then till 15th Feb 1600 Israeli are killed? So Proportionate respond should be 1.6 million Gazan killed?

  2. I am relieved to hear Antonio Guterres asking for the release of all the hostages immediately and without condition just like the International Court of Justice has asked!

  3. The Egyptians are preparing an enclosure to prevent Palestinians from crossing into Egypt. The people of Gaza are effectively stuck between a hard place and a rock, with nowhere else to go. It’s all down to Hamas. Gaza could have been the Singapore of the Middle East but Hamas chose to wage a so-called war of resistance against Israel and to squander the billions of dollars that have been donated to the Gazans on weapons. What Israel is doing to the Palestinians will be a lesson for Arab countries that choose war over peace that Israel will defend itself no matter the odds

  4. If only that possible

For hamas to accept their bleak fate n give up on hostage than surrender to international police

    To be judged in guantanamo

    I mean geneva

But the reality is the 1 that have real concern for civilian life in entire region is israel it self

While the west stuck at political service that unlikely to rent accommodation in eqyp for 'u know who'

Than we can discus after this over for how much among is deserve to back in gaza lol

  5. So Egyot is building an actual concentration camp on the border. Surely the point here is that this is how far Egypt will go to keep Gazans out of its general population.

Humanitarian behavior from Egypt would not look like this. It would look like offering housing and employment in the Nile River valley to all Gazans who ask for it.

A concrete enclosure? Egypt is obviously very concerned about the kinds of people who are hiding amongst refugees

  6. 😂😂😂 I am laughing to other people of the world ,,,are they animal???? Are they are not same like us ??? How many years

  7. UN experts have expressed alarm over allegations of human rights violations against Palestinian women and girls in Gaza and the occupied West Bank since Israel launched its war on Gaza on October 7.

  8. I don't blame Egypt. They're taking precautions against Israel because attacking Rafah or chasing Palestinians into Egypt would be a provacation of war. Israel better not mess with Egypt. We know who would win if Israel messes with Egypt. Long live Egypt. Palestine will be free.

  9. They attacked, they are flattened. They showed crying videos, they are put behind tall walls. Now, Where are they that rally in the streets, with rage shouting, from the tunnel to the, wall???,.
