I searched the sub and could not find an answer to this issue. So sorry if I repeated a same question.

I applied to the 2024 autumn master’s program as an Asian (Sri Lanka) and waiting for the results. According to their descriptions, the results will be out around the first week of April. So I started to prepare the documents needed to apply for the Visa process.

According to Migri, a student with a spouse, needs to have 6,720 + 8,400 = 15,140 Euros to fulfill the income requirement. Around 10,000 euros I have in my bank account which I saved with my salary. The other 5,140 euros are planned to be supplemented via one of my relatives (a bit far in the family tree). He got this money as retirement benefits and currently, they are in some mutual funds. And he can deposit 5,140 euros to my bank account. My problem is do I need to prove how he becomes my relative? If yes what kind of documents do I need? (1)

Apart from that is there a place I can find all the documents which I need to submit to the Visa process? There are a list of required documents listed in both [enterfinland.fi](https://enterfinland.fi/eServices/info/studypermit) and [migri.fi](https://migri.fi/en/residence-permit-application-for-studies) like below.

* a valid passport
* a certificate of acceptance from a Finnish educational institution
* a clarification on income
* a clarification on tuition fee or scholarship, if applicable
* a certificate of health insurance.

I want to know apart from these documents should I submit proof of funds documents like bank statements of the sponsor and how he received the money. In Migri they have mentioned that if I have received the money from a relative (a sponsor), they may ask me to submit additional documents on the origin of the money. Will submitting extra documents like this before they request is a good idea or should I wait till they request any of the extra documents? (2) What is best to have an easy and quick visa process?

Suurkiitokset !!
