  1. Really hope Alvarez can keep the midweek momentum going

  2. No Dias is a surprise, but I’m assuming Bernardo LW and excited to see him cook the kid

  3. happy with this. Dias bench is a bold but good shout. He’s been out of form for quite a while now and now’s not the time to try and get out of that spell

  4. Given how Akanji played midweek this is very much deserved

  5. Look, i love alvarez and what he’s produced.

But can he handle anfield away as part of midfield? or beat 1v1 against a parked bus waiting to counter?

Imo this increases pressure – literally and responsibility wise – on KDB.

    But, #believe

  6. How is Dias benched for Akanji, but I’ll trust the bald fraud.

  7. Not surprised Dias is not starting. I feel like he’s been out of form for a while and the way Liverpool play with their speed in transition at the moment it might be too much. Our backline today can at least handle that.

  8. That Liverpool lineup is lowkey embarrassing no midfield and no salaah

  9. Dias might have some discomfort, there is no chance that pep leaves so lets see what happened.

  10. The anfield games always get me jittery the whole day. If alvarez is on wing and phil in middle then I like this.

  11. Pep is such a funny guy. Alvarez gets one game at lw against an outmatched opponent before the biggest game of the season.

  12. Salah is a sub. He’ll be coming in fresh to a tired defense. Hope Pep is prepared for that eventuality.

  13. Did expect Akanji to play but didn’t expect it to be in place of Dias. Big call by Pep, fair play.

  14. Tbh nearly every time we concede to Liverpool it’s because salah or diaz just run down during a counter attack, I can understand the choice

  15. If Walker is awake throughout the game then we will do well
