  1. >The Supreme Court justices “made a mistake” when they chose to overturn Roe v. Wade and end federal protections for abortion, President Biden said during an interview on MSNBC’s “The Saturday Show with Jonathan Capehart.”

    >Why it matters: The comments mark the second time in days that Biden has directly criticized the court over the Dobbs ruling, after he admonished the court’s decision during his State of the Union address Thursday.

No shit, Sherlock. If he *didn’t* reiterate his criticism of the Dobbs ruling at every opportunity, he should be tossed out on his ear for political malpractice. Ever since that decision, Republicans have been horrifically underperforming in their elections.

  2. Good. Reminding voters constantly of what Conservatives really want (theocracy) is a winning proposition for him.

  3. The fascist SCOTUS members betrayed the country with overturning Roe v Wade.

  4. He is right to do so. The law should be guided by the views of the majority of population, not the few.

  5. Biden needs to emphasize the failings of the SCOTUS. They are going to make more failed decisions before election time.

  6. I always thought Alito’s reasoning was truly awful with a logical hole you could sail an aircraft carrier through.

  7. > “I think they made a wrong decision. I think they read the Constitution wrong. I think they made a mistake”

Not for the first time, nor the last time.

  8. Give ’em hell, Joe. It’s our turn to be loud.

  9. Trump did say he would appoint Justices to overturn roe and now here we are.

  10. He is not going to lose votes by bashing the Courts

  11. I’m mean you can shame them into actually following the constitution. The SC needs to be reigned in with term limits, and removal if they don’t follow a code of ethics inscribed in law as well.

  12. I’d like to hear him throw in a few Free MotoCoach references.

  13. Good. They’re not royalty, they should not be treated as if they are.

  14. He needs to either stack the supreme court or abolish it.

  15. Finally! I just saw an ad about women’s health on YouTube. It was short sweet and to the point.

  16. There was literally no reason for it to be overturned other than religious motivations. We are also literally not supposed to have a national religion.

  17. Imagine if Trump criticized the court in this way, people would go nuts.

  18. Maybe the supreme court wouldnt be as fuckt if they didnt stone wall obamas pick.

Why arent wr talking about that blatant abuse

10 month stall for obama but a shove through for trump. What. The. Fuck.

  19. Good. Fuck the SCOTUS.

The supreme Court is entertaining the idea of giving Trump presidential immunity which essentially throws the barn door wide open to dictatorship.

They have already gutted the voting rights act, have allowed state lawmakers to impose ever restrictive voter laws that target their undesirable voters with surgical precision. The have allowed partisan gerrymandering to go on which, again, diminishes the representation of their undesirable voters.

They have allowed unlimited corporate donations into political action committees which have completely corrupted Congress as they are no longer interested in representing voter interests focusing instead on corporate interests. Exactly as Obama predicted during his SOTU while Roberts was shaking his head.

They have allowed qualified immunity to go on (meaning it’s very difficult to hold police accountable for blatantly violating civil rights including the first amendment).

They have allowed civil asset forfeiture to go on so the government can continue blatantly stealing your property in broad daylight.

They have allowed states to roll back rights for women that they used to have.

They have rolled back your labor rights.

Recently, they have made terrible decisions based on made up facts and even made up plaintiffs.

Furthermore, Bush v Gore is still very much in every one’s mind as an example of SCOTUS, not voters, deciding elections.

We have a justice that’s a proven liar, and a corrupt justices married to an insurrectionist.

SCOTUS has themselves to blame for their legitimacy crisis and why they are facing increasing threats of violence.

  20. Weird, no criticism for the legislative branch not legislating properly.

  21. Good. As a matter of fact,.triple down on it.

Send the message women…send it to them and make them squirm. They need to feel the wrath of taking away women’s rights.

They deserve every bit of it.

  22. This is smart politics – Biden needs to drive home that institutions stop functioning when you fill them with corrupt people, as Republicans have been doing. Trump has just turbo-charged that process. Four more years of him will have significant lasting effects, even if he fails to overturn democracy.

  23. r/conservative: BIDEN ATTACKS BRANCH OF GOVERNMENT HE IS A DICTATOR

  24. As he should. A bunch of impotent old fucks shouldn’t have a say on what a woman can or can’t do with her own body. No man should ever have a say in what a woman is allowed to do or not when it comes to her body.

  25. The source of the error is in the people on the Supreme Court. Those that were picked by a traitor and those that have shown themselves to be traitors. That’s the error. The current rules are not being enforced, they are being twisted by complexity for the sake of appearing impartial. Someone excepts gifts while in a position of authority? Jail. Someone attempted or supported an insurrection? Jail. You were the pick of a traitor? Resign.

  26. This is the way. Next, he should talk about income inequality, then shorter work weeks, shorter hours, bolstering unions and collective bargaining, higher wages, paternity and maternity leave, more PTO, better salaries for teachers and nurses, etc. Why can’t anyone (other than Bernie) talk about these important things that ALOT of people would get behind?

  27. One of the moments from his SotU speech that I felt should’ve gotten more attention was when he called them out. He very intentionally used their own phrase when he said “if you, the American people, send me a Congress that supports the right to choose, I promise you I will restore Roe v. Wade as **the law of the land** again.”

Straight up calling out Gorsuch and others who claims that exact phrase in their confirmation hearings (i.e., they lied).
