  1. Then why did they destroy the sign when arresting him?

  2. Met Police had their statement quickly community noted on Twitter. There’s plenty of full videos available on there of the altercation, there was absolutely no need to go after him or his sign, all it said on there was the following:

    >Don’t attack the law

    >Hamas is terrorist

    >UK added Hamas to the terrorist list “terrorism Act 2020” in March 2001!

There’s a lot of people around him in the footage taking issue with that sign that should probably be getting looking into if they’re not already.

  3. The Metropolitan Police of London terrorise the local population too. Nothing new there.

  4. Regardless of the exact truth of this, I’m sure we’ll have Braverman or someone screaming about it come tomorrow afternoon.

  5. Let’s be real. The guy was there to counter protest and antagonise the protestors, he succeeded in doing so and after a bit of a scuffle the police arrested him, after realising he hadn’t actually assaulted anyone they released him without charge. Even without the scuffle they should’ve moved him on to avoid public disorder.

I don’t have a lot of good stuff to say about the met but I think they handled the situation as well as they could have. Seeing this twisted into ‘the met are pro-Hamas’ or whatever weird shit is going on is actually insane.

  6. The guy very likely brought along the placard to get attention and start trouble. He was shouting at the protesters looking for someone to react.

  7. The ones attacking him should be arrested for supporting Hamas.

  8. Why do people do that. supporting Palestine on a humanitarian basis has nothing to do with Hamas. I have seen people conflate Hamas with Palestinians numerous times. which plays into the narrative to convince the masses that every Palestinian is a terrorist. I also find it hypocritical to stand there with a sign like that at an anti war protest which has nothing to do with Hamas while condoning Israels terrorism.

  9. Maybe just maybe he got into a fight with someone because he’s a belligerent dickhead who was pissing everybody off. He’s clearly trying to wind people up. Not because anybody disagrees with the sign or “support Hamas” as gullible tabloid sheep believe. Hamas are totally irrelevant to these protests.
