I once saw some obviously Norwegian guy in a pub at Ukraine. I asked ”Excuse me, asking out of curiosity? Is that language you’re reading Norwegian? I study linguistics and all, just wanted to see if I can distinguish it from Danish or sort”
He looked at me as if he could see through my body, with an exceptionally blank stare and a very quiet vioce, he said ”It is”
I kinda got the hint and didn’t ask anything further.
That is a very Norwegian guy indeed. Don’t forget we were mostly descendants of socially distant families as they were the ones who survived the plague.
That guy was way to outgoing. A real Norwegian would have tried to hide under the house.
Just say that you’ll take your business to the Swedish Smithy on the other side of the river and this guy will get real talkative.
What’s this game?
Hope people don’t miss the part where he confirms the location, grabs the tools and run off to do dugnad. That’s as norwegian as it gets.
“Good morning, sir!” “Axe handle”
Hello man axe shaft
I digress but it would be great if there were more games in Norwegian
