Fun fact: when the teutonic order (predecessor of prussia) conquered its land, it literally became one of the most prosperous regions in europe. I’m talking medieval free healthcare, public education, low taxes, a working postal system etc.
When the order got driven out, the region slumped back into barbarism pretty much immediatly. Not the roman-decline-style “stuff slowly disintegrated”-slump, but the “we suddenly have no trace of a working postal or health care system anymore”-slump.
The eastoids, of course, celebrate this decline as their greatest victory to this day.

For centuries, Austria and Prussia fought war after war over who would dominate the Holy Roman Empire. Then Austria gets their mole in and totally fucking annihilates Prussia from the inside. Then Austria sits there and does nothing. Wtf Austria?
Ah, sadly, it turned out they got welcomed and integrated with the other German parts, just like how the Arabs ending up in what would become Israel got welcomed and integrated with all other Arab parts. This is why there are no forever refugee-catastrophe in any of those scenarios.

Shut up the dissolution of Prussia is the only good thing that has ever happened to this country. Every day I pity the fact that it was them instead of Austria who unified Germany.
It’s funny how most major German parties had uniting the entirety of Germany including the East Prussian territories as one of their main points up until reunification in 1990, and suddenly nobody seemed to care anymore.
