13. Been watching this man for two decades now. It’s clear that Nolan saw the talent and potential in him too, and then gave him the perfect part. As far as I remember, cillian actually auditioned for Bruce Wayne/ Batman for Batman Begins? Obviously he didn’t get it but Nolan clearly wanted to keep him close. He was good in inception too, but he just transformed for oppenheimer. Fantastic! I’m so happy for him.

    He’s a fantastic actor.

    I thought he was excellent in Oppenheimer but the “Wind that shakes the Barley” is still his best performance, imho.

    He was utterly brilliant in that.
