  1. Well we have this in the north, especially in big cities. Just add a shisha/hooka and you get the picture

  2. >If […], you are not southern Europe

If you say “I am southern Europe” then you are indeed southern European.

  3. I think this is a mediteranean thing (yes! even the savages do it)

  4. Those hags have more information of the town than all the intelligence agencies combined.

  5. Is this supposed to convince me PIGS are not 3rd world countries?

  6. Bro just invited whole Eastern Europe into lazy Europe

  7. Very rarely saw this scene in France, saw it at each street corner when visiting Naples

  8. Man I wish the weayher was good enough to do that, instead of constant raining

  9. so basically every countries stuck in the 20’s are Southern Europe ?

  10. Man, non southerners will never understand the pure joy and relaxation of just sitting like this. 10/10 no notes.

  11. Saw it in Portugal, but also in France in some villages.

Back in time I wasn’t realising how soothing it is to see people living peacefully.

Now I regret this, we are loosing our way of appreciating other people contact in real life, afraid of being harassed (or worse) in street, event in villages :/

    I miss this !

  12. As always barbarians are high on copium cause the most heart-warming interaction they ever had is when that guy in McDonald’s smiled at them (he was happy cause his shift was almost over).

  13. Ask for a smoke, spend the rest of the afternoon talking and drinking beer, never see them again in your life. This is the Portuguese way.

  14. Very common in South Italy, at least for what I know and see during my life, but I can imagine is pretty common through local cultures. In Campania region we used to say “frischiare” when you gathered with friends and relatives in front of their homes just to have a chat. Chats that can even last hours though lol

  15. You mean, not having a proper bench before the house to sit on?

  16. Luckily, Condominia, TV sets and car traffic put an end to such a barbaric tradition of wasting time without economic exchange and speaking with people; so now we can socialise through a surveillance capitalism agency like Facebook or Reddit

  17. Also typical to have a window so small not even a cat can pass through, but they put the grilles on it 😀 Just in case a ghost comes to rob the house

  18. Describe your summer holiday to south Europe in one picture:

  19. Same here, but with plastic seats. Our own Portuguese villagers. So I guess we are honorary PIGS.

  20. Hello thank you for including Poland among your ranks, Southerners
