Ah yes yes the german bombs. My grandfather’s older sister remember the bombs but they were british bombs and she died this day too (unlucky 6th june 1944). Bad day to decide to go get the milk at the village.

My home-city was largely destroyed by the British in WW2 with firebombs (they were still experimenting and just chose a random German city).

Our fuck up was not defending Hong Kong and then-Malaya properly.
Ireland literally hid behind us on the map and got protected. Like a baby ape on its Mum’s back.
