Yes, it is. It should have 11 digits.

But careful: It’s not your Steuernummer.
If you want to make sure it’s the right one the Wikipedia article for “Steuerliche Identifikationsnummer” has a section “Aufbau”. I’m summarizing the first paragraph:
The ID is eleven digits long, 0 should never be the first digit.
IDs created before 2016: the first ten digits contain one digit exactly two times and one digit 0 times.
IDs created since 2016: the first ten digits contain one digit three times and two digits zero times. Two of the same digit are allowed to be right next to each other, but not three of the same digit.
Also the 11. digit is some kind of checksum, it’s explained in the third paragraph of the Aufbau section. But I think checking the other criteria might be enough.
