    34-year-old Anton from Volgograd with the call sign “Wise”, went to war voluntarily, having signed a short-term contract long before mobilization and even managed to demobilize (!). But the war was not enough for him, and in June 2023 he again went to Ukraine. The second time I was not so lucky – I returned home in a zinc coffin, and a document with the cause of death “died”. And this is where the fun begins.

    Anton’s relatives find traces of beatings on his body and later learn that the military registration and enlistment office officially received other documents, where the cause of death is indicated… suicide! This means that the family is not entitled to any payments or compensation. Moreover, in all possible instances the relatives were denied an examination, verification, not to mention the initiation of a criminal case.

    🤷🏼 Another curious point is that “Wise” was not yet paid extra for his second trip to the war: “He had problems with his salary. He received 30–40 thousand. The first normal salary was in November 2023.”

    🫠 That is, the man deliberately went to certain death to fight for the state, which cheated him out of money during his life, and repeated this trick after his death. But he could turn to us, stay alive, and also get the same money without risking anything while sitting in Ukrainian captivity .
