  1. Insane how fucked life can be sometimes. You can make all the right choices, eat healthy, go to school, get a job, start a family, put more good out into the world than bad and still get hit with something like MS.

  2. She has had such terrible luck health wise. First with the preemptive surgeries due to cancer scares and then getting hit with something as devastating as MS.

She deserved every bit of that applause at the Emmys. And if we don’t get to see her again on screen it can be said she went out on a high note with Dead to Me which was such an iconic Christina Applegate performance.

  3. She’s been a terrific actress and dancer her whole life.

I saw her years ago off-Broadway in “Sweet Charity” and it was such a divine performance.

My heart breaks having to see her suffer like this.

  4. So Beloved. Especially by this fan. I love Christina Applegate.

  5. My dad had MS and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It effects people a bit differently, but all end up unable to control their muscles. Eventually, like it did for my dad, lead to not having control of breathing, swallowing or coughing, that ended up with him getting pneumonia and dying. It sucks and I hope she knows that we love her.

  6. As someone who’s had a crush on her for nearly 40 years and has enjoyed her work, this breaks my heart. They need to find a cure for this horrible disease

  7. MEAT FIGHT!! It’s MS awareness week, great org I’m proud to be part of. If you have MS or want to help find the cure, check us out!

  8. Currently watching my best friend struggle with MS. Helped her pack up her flat and move into a nursing home 2 years ago at age 38. It’s a terrible disease.

Lost a client to it too. She was 61 and couldn’t move, eat, or speak for the last few years. She got pneumonia at one point and was intubated and begged her family to just let her die. Having her blink when I got the right words or letters to share that message with her family was probably the most painful message I’ve ever relayed.
