Hey all! So I posted a few days ago about organising a Magic: The Gathering based fundraiser event for a local charity in Portadown. Well today I have the pleasure of confirming some more details!
So the event will be held at the Wellness Centres site on the Armagh Road in Portadown, on Saturday the 18th of May. It’ll generally be an nerdy open day with a mix of board games and but primarily Magic: The Gathering. The MTG there’ll be open/casual tables where people can play any format of their choice, and a tournament for a prize throughout the day.
Additionally there will be a raffle on day (entrance fee covers a single entry with additional entries available), with hot drinks and some snacks available too.
All proceeds will be given to the Portadown Wellness Centre and the community and mental health work they do. The event is aided by Glimmer Barn Games in Lurgan, so check them out for your MTG needs and for a great community of regular players.
