  1. I think this may have something to do with results of home tests often not being reported and the mandatory PCR test for positicpvely home-tested people being scrapped when there are no symptoms.

Number of hospitalisations and deaths are both up.

  2. Excellent news! Further proof that Omicron was exactly what South Africa told us it would be and the complete opposite of what our trustworthy “scientists” said it would be.

  3. Covid, as something to be feared and hidden from is over. The narrative has tipped.
Now, it’s something we’ve beaten. The ‘figures’ don’t matter a fuck.

  4. Weren’t they reporting a huge shortage of LF Tests last week?

If there isn’t an easy way to test who might be positive, then it is likely that cases could appear to fall.

  5. I can already here my corporate overlords telling me that it’s time to return to the office… fucking dreading it. It’s a super small team in London and the rest of the gang is in on the other side of the world, direct line manager including. But the guy above him has some weird idea that being in the office will allow us to collaborate more… ffs

  6. Think I’d rather still wait and see than celebrate early.

Letting cases get ridiculously high then falling a bit is easy, let’s see if it continues…?

These articles are not better than the doom articles when cases went up a bit and they’d be saying “Covid at highest it’s been all week!!!”

Reddit doomers when there’s good news: Hmm not sure about that we need to wait and see a little longer
