What’s happening this evening is this is indeed the last day of that 4-day March uh uh people families of the hostages members of the public even former hostages released from captivity arriving here in Jerusalem after as I said there are 4 day March and really just all these people calling on the

Government calling on the security cabinet H to do more to secure the release of the hostages still being held in Gaza they set off on Wednesday in southern Israel from the site of the Nova uh music festival of course that name Infamous now synonymous with the the with October 7th and the attacks

Carried out by Hamas on that day uh and on theout along along the Route on the way to Jerusalem they were joined by yet more members of the public and of course the rallies the March’s arrival here in Jerusalem time to coincide with the rally being held in Tel Aviv uh in

Solidarity with the hostages of course since October as you know every week there have been those large rallies in Tel Aviv uh in support of the hostages uh people uh have never really those those rallies haven’t really lost momentum people really trying to keep up uh the pressure on the government

Because of course it’s been almost 5 months now since those hostages were kidnapped and for the families it’s an unbe it’s an unbearable wait for news of their loved ones

A march by thousands of Israelis demanding the release of hostages held in Gaza reached Jerusalem on Saturday as negotiators prepared to resume ceasefire negotiations in Cairo that would include a swap deal with Hamas. FRANCE 24’s Andrew Hilliar tells us more from Jerusalem.

  1. I will never understand Israeli logic. How can they protest against their government and, at the same time, go and block the aid humanitarian coming in?! I don't think anyone wanted the captives saved. All they care about is a piece of land.
