This is genius-level optics. Of course he wants the support long-term. But now he seems stoic and in control as well, and can paint the picture of Ukraine protecting Europe. Really talented rhetorician, Ukraine is lucky to have him.

I find it absolutely insane that a malignant narcissist, with obvious dementia, 94 criminal charges, and bankrupt is influencing a large group in congress This includes the Speaker of the House, who says he is acting in the name of god . He voted to allow a villain like Putin continue to attack another democracy and MURDER their citizens. The highest court in America ,the Supreme Court , is failing to protect Americans. Kavenaugh and Thomas are receiving well known bribes. Justice Thomas’s wife led the Insurrection to steal the voice of the voters. All of them are directly responsible for the death and destruction in Ukraine. 🇺🇦 Do not let them turn America into an authoritarian country. We have a lot working against us. VOTE

I *assume* he’s trying to reassure the French people that if they send troops into Ukraine to fight Russia, Ukraine will win, and I know he has to keep drumming up support since *apparently* his country being invaded isn’t reason enough to give Ukraine the tools to finish the job.
But it also kinda sounds like he’s guaranteeing that there wouldn’t be any casualties for foreign forces if they intervene – which is stretching the truth to the furthest degree. He’d be banking on Russia withdrawing before any allied forces actually got into a fight.
“Die in Ukraine? No! Your children are going to LIVE in Ukraine!” said Zelensky to his noticeably uncomfortable French audience.
I wish they would just surrender. It’s not worth going to war for one government over the other.

They probably don’t like him there since he is black bagging people to force them to his front lines. Get a store receipt at the grocery store and the printout tells you to report for duty.
