    Late 2022: West says “We’ll help you evict Russia” and delivers some stuff Ukraine takes Kherson and Kharkiv.

    Early 2023: West says “OK, with half the stuff we promised, and no fighter planes, and a delay while Russia mines the crap out of your country, now try a counteroffensive.”

    Late 2023: West says “Your counteroffensive failed, and many of us are either scared of Putin or controlled by Putin. You’re on your own for a while.” Ukraine drives the Black Sea fleet away from the Black Sea.

    Early 2024: Ukraine says “We just lost Avdiivka because we didn’t even have enough f’n artillery shells. You didn’t want Russia destroyed? Too bad.” Ukraine builds defensive lines and starts a campaign to drive Russia off their territory by destroying Russia.

    At least, I hope that’s what’s happening. Russia, the “prison of nations,” exporter of terrorism, corrupter of democracies worldwide, needs to be destroyed as a political entity. It looks to me like Ukraine has the means, motive, and opportunity to do it. Slava Ukraini!

    A tank is a minor inconvenience and wont shit down a refinary for long but anything like a fractionation tower could take it out for months to years

  20. Russia reaps what it sowed. I find it noteworthy that the Ukraine is actually attacking valid military targets, not random civilian targets.
