In English we would say the nut has a female thread and the bolt has a male thread.

I had no idea moer is a word for mother. I have never heard it use as such. Are you sure you aren’t suffering from a lack of oxygen up there in the mountains?
Also bouten means to take a shit

Moer = queen bee (or any of the other 20 meanings, none of them is mother)

We just call them nuts and bolts, rather than some parent fucking fantasy…
And in other cases we would call them the male and female connectors (for like plugs and sockets for example).
You Dutch are a fucking weird bunch alright!
