I mentioned these to my sister two days ago! The inside wasn’t peanut butter but chopped salty peanut. I loved them, sister was more a pear drops gal

I remember buying these in a paper bag and having to spit out the bits of paper that got stuck to the sweet.
Just looking at that picture caused a filling to fall out and 2 of my teeth to crack.

I got some of these off Amazon a couple of years ago, I’m not entirely sure what the centre is but it’s not peanut butter. I think I might be crushed peanuts.

I tried to work my way through the whole sweet shop back in the day but skipped a few jars that I could tell hadn’t moved in years. I think these were the scariest of the lot.
