  1. FAA [report](https://www.faa.gov/newsroom/Sec103_ExpertPanelReview_Report_Final.pdf) on Boeing safety culture, from literally two weeks ago:

    “Interviewees shared examples of unintended consequences when concerns of potential interference and retaliation are raised. Some UMs reported changes in behavior from their leadership and unrequested changes in assignments.”
    “This arrangement could lead to a manager investigating a report within their own reporting chain, potentially compromising Boeing’s commitment to a non-retaliatory and impartial environment. This dual responsibility and authority create, among some employees, hesitation in reporting safety concerns for fear of retaliation.”

  4. In the middle of giving testimony. No one commits suicide in the middle of giving testimony; when the intention is protecting passengers.

    I know I’ll be downvoted, but I recommend looking at people who have spoken about UFOs; who have been killed under suspicious circumstances.

  20. Y’all.. Boeing did not murder a whistleblower from 2017. What’s more likely is that he made the lives of people he worked with much harder. When you work for a large important MIC contractor it becomes your whole life. You work and socialize with the same group of people. The only people you can talk about work with (which, again, becomes most of your life at the higher levels) are people with the same clearance and doing the same work. You all have vested stock in the company and its success is your success. By turning whistleblower he likely alienated all of the people he had come to call friends over his career because his actions directly effected their livelihoods.

    Suicide after 6 years of lonliness and alienation is not a far jump in this case. Especially because people are known to be extremely vile to whistleblowers as their actual on record testimony starts (see: any US whistleblower case in the last 100 years)

    Boeing is never going to fail or go under. With all of the secrets they hold and contracts they’ve gotten into, they are basically a quasi-agency of the DoD. They have no long term incentive to start murdering whistleblowers. The worst case for them right now is 5-10 year recovery after a restructuring. If they were assasinating people they would risk being completely disbanded.
