    Are they Russians or Ukrainians?

  3. If true that’s about 3km over the border. Nothing to get too excited about but,it is noteworthy

  4. Remember everyone this is more than likely not a mission of acquiring territory, they will pull out probably within a week. Sounds like they are doing well though.

  6. What an eventful day though. Lots of drone strikes in various parts of Russia, the Russian Freedom Legion doing what they do, shotdown of various planes.

    Sounds like Ukraine is really gearing up for those Russian Elections.

  11. I had read in another posting that these guys and another group were pretty much on their own, let’s just hope it’s not some sacrificial mission and they return in one piece back across the border!

  12. Initially when I saw the “Russian liberation forces” I was like: 😡😡🤬🤬🤬, and later I realized it was other type of Russian forces, the one that we like…

  14. This area is surrounded on 3 sides by Ukraine. If they wanted to stay in an area of Russia this looks like a real option. The amazing thing to me about Ukraine’s war efforts so far is their ability to surprise so hard to be sure what is next.

  17. Am I looking at the maps right?

    3 sides of the village border Ukraine. One of flanks is 100% blocked by a river. The other flank has a water barrier at the border. This area seems like it’s defensible, the Russians can only attack straight towards the village.

  20. This is great and all, but unless you can hold it and have support of the population, it’s not going to be easy. I don’t know if they have either of those.

  21. Russian illegal invasion liberation would suggest freedom.
