  1. If A = B and B = C then it’s implied that A = C. It’s the Transitive law in mathematics and logic. Therefore yes, it has been mathematically proven that Italy = North Korea.

  2. Italy sprinkled Eritrea with european culture between late 19th and early 20th century.

Colonization ended and it was Ethiopia for a minute.

Eritrea became the North Korea of Africa in 1997 or smthn after they seperated from Ethiopia.

Just some context for those unaware, Eritrea is an ex-Italian colony and a ton of its architecture that’s still there today is very much 19th century and early 20th Century Italian style architecture.

For the second one, it’s compared to NK because it is a heavily authoritarian and brutal police state about on par with what you would expect from NK.

  4. No. I won’t bore you with the details (to be fair, you need a really high IQ to understand) but long story short this means Italy is to South America’s Chernobyl what Hong Kong is to Australia’s Paris

  5. People on YouTube are incentivized to dramatize everything. The people who make normal reviews of places don’t become popular

  6. I’d argue that it’s actually Liechtenstein

No clue what is going there

  7. North Koreans have jobs, work hard and are loyal to their Government.

    Italians are none of these.

  8. The correct question should be is North Korea Asia’s Italy?

  9. I mean it is divided into a glorious north, and a corrupt southern half whose only achievement is a bunch of weird films.

  10. Not sure if I got it right, so Eritrea is Eritrea’s Eritrea?
