Netanyahu needs a ‘come to Jesus’ meeting with me, says Biden

The US president, Joe Biden, was caught on a hot mic saying that he told the Israeli prime minister, Benjamin Netanyahu, that they needed to have a ‘come to Jesus meeting’.

The comment, made on Thursday, shortly after Biden’s State of the Union address, is the latest sign of growing frustration between the two leaders.

Biden later denied making the remark, but said Israel needed to do more to get aid into Gaza.
