6. Moroccan here. Unfortunately the country is plagued with casual racism (I’m not sure if this is the term) it’s deeply rooted that some people don’t even seem to grasp their racism lol.

   Whenever I’m in a cab (they’re so chatty here) and they start complaining about Africans (yes, they refer to black immigrants as African, like the rest of Morocco is Swedish lmao) how they’ve basically invaded us. I love seeing their reaction when I ask them if they think Moroccan immigrants in Europe should be deported as well.

   Another instance is just how many mean looks I would get when going out with an ex, who happened to be black.
