Ha. Rachael Clark. She is not a credible person even remotely
Well… It’s gonna have to. And that’s just stating fact, if you haven’t noticed the sea-change in rhetoric from both politicians and media in the last couple of weeks, you’ve been wilfully ignoring said.
With a few caveats, the era of “covid restrictions” in the UK, certainly in England, is coming to an end.
It isn’t just omicron. It’s also lack off staff because they’ve all either left or are off sick with covid.
But then, when it’s be drastically underfunded for decades, it’s not gonna run smoothly.
The NHS hasn’t been coping for ages, it needs more funding.
Bullshit. Have you been into a hospital lately? Ghost town.
It’s not Omicron directly that is causing issues. Its staff burnout and fatigue. People are grateful to self-isolate as its the only way of getting a break. People’s partners are encouraging them to stop working themselves to death. The government has asked too much of clinical staff for no recompense.
Doctor here – Omicron isn’t a problem at all. Social care is the problem, but that doesn’t make headlines.
Having dealt with the NHS over the last two weeks, they aren’t coping with anything. I get that they are purposefully underfunded to pave the way for privitisation but god, the staff really don’t help their case.
What about the huge number of nurses not vaccinated. That’s why there are staff shortages. Totally selfish. And what is the normal excess death rate? Where’s the context? Oh yeah it’s a guardian article….
Proportional to the normal population, it’s huge. I can’t remember but I was shocked. And it’s so bad considering that they work in health care
