Snapshots of a week in Barra and Vatersay

Just a few highlights from Barra and Vatersay, places I’ve been to many times and will return to many more. I was doing historical research and possibly discovered the only known Neolithic rock art site in Barra, which is cool if you’re a nerd for those types of things! Plenty of time spent on the various beaches but also tracking down a ‘lost’ standing stone in an ancient hill pass, the village of Eorasdail setted by the Vatersay Raiders and only abandoned c.1970, and other cultural and archaeological sites. Going from the west coast of Barra to central Glasgow within 3 hours is quite the whiplash 😅
