I'm partial to NYT games (especially Connections) – https://www.nytimes.com/games/connections
joe.ie daily quiz – https://www.joe.ie/quiz/the-joe-quick-fire-general-knowledge-quiz-day-159-794282
& Globle – https://globle.org/?

But curious if there are any other worth checking out?

Thank you!

  1. Quizup was good but it disappeared years ago. You played live against an opponent

  2. If you like NYT Connections game, puzzgrid.com is great. Connections game is a poor rip off of Only Connect.

  3. The newest NYT one is in beta, called Strands and is quite fun! It’s a wordsearch basically, with a theme each day and one answer that sums up the theme that spans the entire board which is called the “spangram”. Once you get the theme it’s easy to get cracking but I have struggled finding the theme sometimes 😅 https://www.nytimes.com/games/strands

  4. I’ve done zero work so far this morning thanks to this post

  5. [Framed](https://framed.wtf/)

Guess the movie from a few stills, new movie each day. By clicking the calendar icon at top of screen you can access all of the previous ones, so there’s a good chunk to work through.

  6. The one yesterday was bullshit, who’s ever heard of Cat’s pajamas?

  7. Have you tried the new Strands on NYT? I’m quite enjoying that.

Also do Connections and The Mini.

  8. We play connections every day in the office , great game

  9. Guesswhichflag.netlify.app

    Immaculatefooty.com

  10. Contexto is great, albeit somewhat difficult at first

  11. I’ve just wasted 30 minutes due to being shown vole.wtf

  12. if you’re looking for quizzes, then [sporcle.com](https://sporcle.com) is what you want, its got a bank of quizzes made over the span of about 12 or so years? on pretty much any topic you want, there’s also some logic puzzles that some users created themselves that i’ve never seen elsewhere, i’m quite partial to the trees series, which when you start doing it feels impossible, but now i can finish a single puzzle in about 50 seconds

  13. Free Rice – it’s a word definitions game. https://freerice.com/home

    >>Every question you answer correctly raises 10 grains of rice for the World Food Programme (WFP) …

The numbers quickly add up, and you’re giving many bowls of rice to hungry people.

  14. Boxofficega.me and all the spin offs are my go to when im having an after work pint with my wife and friends

  15. [https://heardledecades.com/](https://heardledecades.com/)

It’s a huge choice of song guessing games. There are decade ones, artist ones and genre based ones. This is 10 mins of every morning for me!

  16. Sporcle, it’s only issue is it’s very American. Which isn’t a problem in itself, being an American website, but I get excited when I see a “TV shows from the 90s” quiz and then disappointed when I only recognise 1 or 2 of the answers. But the vast majority of quizzes are great.

  17. We play these types of games on a work social on Fridays. So you are a legend my friend. Thanks for this.

  18. Buzzfeed (guilty pleasure) and The Guardian! Also BBC News and I also love Geoguessr, the Wikipedia game, and doing personality assessments.
